About Bami Haeng

Rachel’s bamee hang follows the Thai street noodles her husband enjoyed on a visit to Thailand. This rendition includes the popular Moo Dang combination of roast red pork, wontons and choy sum.

Thin egg noodles are boiled, drained and tossed with garlic oil, fish sauce, sugar and fried garlic. Cilantro and green onion add fresh flavour, with dried chilli flakes and white pepper optional.

The blanched greens, cooked wontons and sliced pork are arranged over the seasoned noodles. The bowl is served without a surrounding broth, leaving the garlic-rich dressing to coat the noodles directly.
