About Zemiakové placky
Zemiakové placky are Slovak fried potato pancakes, also known as haruľa. Luboš Brieda's rendition combines finely grated raw potatoes with onion, garlic, egg and flour for a savoury snack.
Marjoram and ground black pepper give the potato mixture its aromatic seasoning. The onion and garlic add a pronounced savoury character to the mild potato base.
