Huni Roshi

Huni roshi is a Maldivian coconut flatbread with a thicker shape and a slightly crisp exterior.

About Huni Roshi

Huni roshi is a Maldivian coconut flatbread with a thicker shape and a slightly crisp exterior. Lonumedhu’s rendition has grated coconut throughout the dough, giving each round a mild sweetness and a substantial texture.

The bread has a simple flavour of coconut and salt. Its gently browned surface contrasts with the softer centre, and the thicker rounds make a satisfying base for a savoury breakfast.

Theluli rihaakuru is offered alongside: a concentrated tuna preparation with softened onion, green mango, chilli, curry leaves and pandan. Its salty, tangy flavour provides a lively accompaniment to the coconut bread.
