About Sfiha
Sfeeha are small Lebanese meat pies, with Baalbeck particularly known for their open square shape. Zaatar and Zaytoun's rendition has a lamb filling and a soft, milk-enriched yeast dough.
Tomato and onion add moisture to the meat. Black pepper and the family's seven-spice blend bring a layered seasoning of cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cinnamon and cayenne.
